Obviously all of the information on the website is free, and if you choose to use the contact us option we will get back to you with inquiries eventually. And if you have bought a puppy from us we will be willing to help, just get in touch. But if you are a stranger to us and want prompt and more direct help, get in touch about these options.
Alexandra and Danielle do this as a hobby, and as such will not necessarily be available when you need us. Additionally, there are just two of us and we are only willing to have so many animals at a time. Get in touch to see if the dates you have in mind will work. While our dogs or dogs we are currently boarding may be present for the training sessions, all training sessions will be private. With one on one attention to your dog and/or you. We do not offer group classes.
Is not available at this time as we are still doing intensive training with Poseidon and Lothlorien.
Sessions
Initial evaluation and advice (required before attendance at any other training sessions), your house or ours, minimum of 1 hour - $60/hour
Each training session will cost $80/hour which can come in half hour intervals. A training plan will be suggested and options will be given at the end of the initial evaluation. We are willing to either come to you, you come to us, but you will need to be part of these training sessions actively. If you want to drop your pet off and leave you will need the board and train section.
Board and train
See the boarding section for details on what this includes on a daily basis.
House training (training not to pee in the house) minimum 1 month 3,000/month (1,800 is the boarding cost, and 1,200 is for the additional training, discipline, and cleaning). Dogs who come for this service must come with a kennel, a harness, a collar, and a leash.
Other board and training call us. Different goals will require different levels of effort and therefore different prices.

Additionally, there are just two of us and we are only willing to have so many animals at a time. Get in touch to see if the dates you have in mind will work. This is not intended as a day care as we would like breaks and time with exclusively our pets, but rather for vacations, surgery, new born, or other temporary reasons.
We will treat your animal the same as we treat our own. We walk our dogs three times a day; 7am, 3pm, and 9pm. If your dog is kennel trained we will kennel them overnight, but otherwise they will remain loose overnight. We feed TLC dog food free-fed, but will feed your dog your food in specified amounts if you wish. Our dogs are allowed on the furniture. We do have a cat and will watch interactions carefully if your dog is not accustomed to cats, but this is not expected to be a problem with our dogs demonstrating how to behave around the cat and separation of areas of the house easy if there is concern with the interaction. We will pet your dog frequently, and weather permitting play ball with them at least once a day in our yard, in addition to having tug toys and chew toys available for them inside. We bathe our dogs once a week, and can bathe yours as well if you wish.
We reserve the right to refuse customers. This would likely happen if aggression towards the other animals or wetting themselves was a chronic and or severe problem for the pet after several boardings.
The price is per dog, and there is no discount for multiple dogs. Likewise prices do not improve for longer durations. We enjoy seeing and taking care of other peoples pets and making money at it is a draw as well. This is the price we have decided makes it worth it for us to take care of your dog, and that does not change if we have them for longer or more of them.
$60 per night per dog
General information
Alexandra does this as a hobby. You will need to schedule a time. Alexandra will be taking full-time university classes until December 2024, so hours will be flexible but will change every semester.
We believe that you are paying for our time, as opposed to the product. Accordingly all of our prices are by the hour. The better trained your animal is, the less time I spend fighting them, the cheaper the grooming will be. Likewise the more complicated a thing you want the longer it will take. For example if you are getting a coat grooming and want me to do a show ready English Saddler cut on a standard poodle, that would take substantially more time than doing a puppy cut (or full body to one length). It is my time that you are paying for. I will put in whatever amount of time your dog and your desires require. I am simply not willing to sign up to do three hours worth of frustrating fighting with a badly trained animal for the same price as a quick and painless cut. This also means that if you come to me regularly your pet will get to know me and the grooming will mostly likely get cheaper after a few visits.
We reserve the right to refuse customers. This would likely happen if biting or wetting themselves was a chronic problem for the pet.
Nail trim $60/hour
We use a dremel. And will bill in time increments of 1 minute. The average grooming session is 10-15 minutes for $10-15.
Coat grooming and wash $60/ hour
We use Soos pet shampoo.
Below is examples of groomings I did and times
Lothlorien a full size, standard poodle, in a show ready Continental Cut (note, not blow dried, just cut into show ready, assuming blow drying on the day of a show) which took 1 hour for a maintenance cut and 1 hour and 30 minutes for a shaping cut. Where maintenance is shaving the areas to remain short only, in order to keep hair out of her orifices and let the show areas grow longer, and a shaping cut is a maintenance cut plus making the long areas of hair a uniform length with rounded edges, both times include a shower, shampoo, and towel dry.
